Neskowin Beach State Park - Oregon
The Entrance Leading to Neskowin Beach
I like Neskowin Beach in Oregon because the parking lot is only a minute away from the entrance to the beach and the path down to the sand is smooth and short (no stairs to climb or rocks to go over). A creek lines the path to the beach and meets the ocean as it flows pass Proposal Rock. The beach is flat and has wide open spaces where visitors can make bonfires, bake, lay, and play. Bathrooms, lodging, and restaurants are literally minutes away. Beautiful vacation homes and condos are available to rent here and some line this beautiful enchanting beach. It almost reminded me of Cannon Beach but smaller and quieter. I am currently considering this place as a perfect place to get married. Easy beach access, public restrooms close by, family friendly, small friendly neighborhood and so much more .... this place gets a gold star from me.
Mo's on the Coast
Mo's Famous Clam Chowder at Mo's on the Oregon Coast is a must have when visiting Lincoln City, OR.
I love Mo's! The family atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming to any tourist or anyone in general. The staff is friendly and fast. I did have to wait in line for about 20 minutes or so but that was because of the long line of hungry people who know what everyone should know ... Mo's has delicious food and it's family friendly!
When I come here I order the Blackened Salmon with garlic mash potatoes and a cup of clam chowder. I got to have lemon with my salmon so I order extras of that also! I can't wait to come back. I've been meaning to try Mo's take on fish n' chips but the way they prepare the salmon makes me feel like "I'm home".

Yum-Berry Soap
I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to make soap. The picture below is of my Yum-Berry soap. I didn't feel like working with Lye so I choose a Melt-n-Pour soap base. The steps to make this soap is melt your soap base (careful not to over heat it) until liquid, add your color, add your fragrance and stir until all is blended. After everything is blended pour into a "mold". Anything can be used as a mold, almost anything. I used an empty foil box by lining it with freezer paper (glossy side up because this is the surface the soap mix will rest against and prevents it from leaking) for my soap mold.
